On 12 May 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane organised an aerobic exercise activity for The Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28July 2024 at the Royal Thai Embassy.

 

H.E. Morakot Sriswasdi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR, highlighted the objectives of the aerobic exercise activity for The Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28 July 2024. The activity aligns with His Majesty’s guidance and Royal-initiated projects that aim to promote good health and wellness of the Thai citizens since healthy people is fundamental for strong community and society which will contribute to the sustainable development of the nation.

 

The aerobic exercise activity for The Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28 July 2024 demonstrates the loyalty to the Monarchy, unity amongst the Thai community in the Lao PDR, and the close people-to-people relations between Thailand and the Lao PDR. After the exercise, participants also enjoyed food and drinks kindly provided by the Thai private sector and the Thai community in the Lao PDR.

 

On this occasion, the Embassy had the honour to welcome Major General Winthai Suvaree, representative from the Royal Thai Army, and Major General Wanchana Sawasdee, representative from the Royal Thai Armed Forces, as special guests. The event received a lot of interest, and was attended by more than 400 guests, including Team Thailand, the Thai private sector, members of the Thai community in the Lao PDR, and Laos friends.
