On 3 April 2024, Ambassador Morakot Sriswasdi met Mr. Bounleua Sinxayvoravong, Governor of Bank of Lao PDR (BOL), to discuss the implementation of BOL’s new financial measures and the impacts of those measures on foreign direct investment. They also exchanged views on mutual development cooperation, particularly on sharing experiences and the best practices on anti-money laundering between Thailand and Lao PDR.
