On 29 May 2023, Ambassador Morakot Sriswasdi paid a courtesy call on Mr. Chantong Keopasueth, Deputy Secretary of Luang Namtha’s Provincial Party Committee in the occasion of her visit to Luang Namtha and Oudomxay provinces between 29-31 May 2023. During the call, both sides discussed matters of bilateral cooperation including (1) promoting quality investment from Thailand in Luang Namtha which could contribute to the growing Lao economy; (2) enhancing connectivity to facilitate trade, investment and tourism between both countries and; (3) security cooperation in border areas.
