On 23 July 2024, Ambassador Morakot Sriswasdi paid a courtesy call on Mr. Soubanh Savabouth, Chairman of the Constituencies Affairs and President of the Lao-Thai Parliamentarians Friendship Group to discuss ways and means to strengthen cooperation between legislative bodies of Thailand and Lao PDR. During the call, they also discussed the preparation for the upcoming official visit of Lao-Thai Parliamentarians’ Friendship Group to Thailand in late July 2024, as well as, a suggestion on roles of the National Assembly in ensuring adequate blood supply for patients in the Lao PDR.
