On 4 February 2026, H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakchaoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Udomvit Chaisakulkiet, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, and participants in the Carbon Neutral University Workshop under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin. On this occasion, the Ambassador made a presentation entitled “An Overview of Thailand–Lao PDR Relations and the Lao PDR’s Carbon Credit Policy” and exchanged views with participants on green development and alternative energy in the Lao PDR.
