Ambassador Morakot Sriswasdi paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Saleumxay Kommasith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, on the occasion of her assumption of duty. Ambassador Morakot expressed full support for Lao PDR’s in hosting the 4th MRC Summit in April 2023 and Lao PDR’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2024. Both sides agreed to work closely to further strengthen cordial bilateral relations, focusing on promoting Thai investment in Lao PDR, security cooperation and border management, promotion of sustainable development cooperation, education, healthcare and services, as well as people-to-people relations.
