On 22 February 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane participated in Panyathip Career Fair at Panyathip International School, Vientiane. On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy provided useful information on scholarships, curricula and academic institutions in Thailand as well as process for visa applications for those intending to further their studies in Thailand.

The event, in which more than 40 institutions and organizations participated, aimed at providing students, parents and communities in the Lao PDR with information on opportunities for career development and higher education in foreign countries.
