H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, presided over activities on the occasion of the Memorial Day of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, 23 October 2026, at the Thai Residence in Vientiane. Officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane, members of Team Thailand and their spouses also attended the ceremony. On this occasion, the programme included an alms-giving ceremony for monks from Si Saket Temple in Vientiane, the delivery of a remembrance statement, the laying of a wreath in homage to His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, and the observance of 57 seconds of silence in remembrance of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn.
