On 13 July 2023, Ambassador Morakot Sriswasdi paid a courtesy call on Mr. Thongchanh Manixay, Minister of Home Affairs of Lao PDR on the occasion of her assumption of duty. Ambassador Sriswasdi expressed readiness to enhance the cooperation between the Thai agencies concerned and Ministry of Home Affairs of Lao PDR. The potential cooperation includes the exchange of experiences and good practices on the matters related to local administration, the development of public administration, civil registration as well as privatisation. In the meeting, Ministry of Home Affairs also discussed possibilities to conclude MOUs with relevant agencies of Thailand.
