On 29-30 March 2023, Ambassador Morakot Sriswasdi, accompanied by Mr. Kawin Wiriyapanich, Director of the Office of Overseas Trade Promotion in Vientiane and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy and Royal Thai Consulate-General in Savannakhet, visited plantations of Thai investors in Champasak Province, including (1) Coffee plantation of Paksong Highland Sole Co., Ltd (2) Flower plantation of Dasada Champasak Co., Ltd and (3) Orange farm of Lao Thanathon Agriculture Co., Ltd. These investments have contributed significantly to Lao PDR's sustainable economic growth, better living conditions as well as promoting job creation to local people. The group also had the opportunity to   receive information on their business plans and challenges on their investments as well as to exchange views on how to address the challenges.
