On 30 September 2025, H.E. Ms. Morakot Sriswasdi, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, paid a farewell call on H.E. Mrs. Khemmani Pholsena, Head of the President’s Office, on the occasion of the completion of her tenure. Both sides expressed appreciation for the close cooperation at all levels and in all dimensions, which significantly contributed to strengthening the cordial relations between Thailand and the Lao PDR as a close, neighbouring country and the Strategic Partnership for Growth and Sustainable Development.

Furthermore, both sides congratulated the success of activities organised in celebration of the 75^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the Lao PDR. These activities, including economic, cultural, political, and sustainable development, have enhanced the connection and people-to-people ties between Thailand and the Lao PDR even further.
