On 8 November 2024, H.E. Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam, Ambassador of Vietnam to Lao PDR paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Morakot Sriswasdi upon his assumption of duty. In the meeting, both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam, tourism cooperation under Six Countries One Destination campaign, prevention of drug precursors and drugs trafficking, enhancing cooperation among members of in the Mekong sub-region and with their development partners as well as cooperation in other subregional and regional frameworks.
