On 12 March 2025, H.E. Ms. Morakot Sriswasdi, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. SaleumxayKommasith, Deputy Prime Minister of the Lao PDR. Both sides discussed the exchanges of high-level delegation, the achievement of the Official Visit of the Prime Minister of the Lao PDR to Thailand on 20 February 2025, the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Thailand-Laos diplomatic relations as well as the conference on anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism with an aim to mitigate hindrances to foreign direct investment in the Lao PDR at the end of March 2025.
