On 3 October 2026, H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, received a farewell call by Group Captain Rungroj Sukhum, Air Attache, and Sergeant Major First Class Somphob Sinprasert, Technical and Administrative Staff, Office of the Army Attaché, upon their completion of duty at the Royal Thai Embassy. The Ambassador expressed her deep gratitude for their active participation in the Embassy’s functions and events as well as their efficient coordination during their tenure, contributing to the overall work of Team Thailand in the Lao PDR. On this occasion, the Ambassador also welcomed the arrival of Group captain Verachon Pensri, the new Air Attaché, accompanied by Mrs. Maturot Pensri, his spouse, and Sergeant Major First Class Kanakorn Pengsri, the new Technical and Administrative Staff, Office of the Army Attaché, who assumed their duty on 1 October 2026.
