On 28 June 2026, Her Excellency Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, witnessed the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Khon Kaen University’s International College and DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane. The ceremony was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane Hotel in Vientiane Capital. The MoU was signed by Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean of Khon Kaen University’s International College, and Mr. Kris Panyasuksri, General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane. The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between Khon Kaen University and DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane by providing Khon Kaen University students with opportunities to undertake internships and gain practical experience in preparation for careers in the international hospitality industry.
