On 30 October 2025, at 1530 hours, Major General Saichay Kommasith, Deputy Minister of Defence of the Lao PDR, together with executives of the Ministry of Defence signed the Book of Condolence in tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence in Vientiane. The Deputy Minister and his entourage were welcomed by Ms. Jirusaya Birananda, Chargé d’ Affaires, a.i., members of Team Thailand and Embassy’s officials.
