On 27 August 2026, H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, together with officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane, members of Team Thailand and their spouses, organised a volunteer public service and merit-making activity to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother and the Thai Mother’s Day. On this occasion, the Ambassador led the participants in reciting a royal aphorism on virtuous conduct and contribution to society as well as presented educational supplies to the Association for Children with Special Needs in Vientiane.
