On 1 April 2026, H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Phoxay Sayasone, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare of the Lao PDR, upon assuming her duty as the Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR. Both sides exchanged views on the labor situation in Thailand and the Lao PDR, as well as bilateral labor cooperation, including the issue of skill development. In this regard, the Thai Ambassador expressed Thailand’s readiness to share its labor experiences and expertise with Laos in the fields of the latter’s interest.
