Ceremony and activities on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s Birthday 3 June 2023
In marking the 45th Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on 3 June 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane organised the following ceremonies and activity in celebration of this auspicious occasion and to express gratitude to Her Majesty the Queen.
 
On 2 June 2023, H.E. Ms. Morakot Sriswasdi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR led Team Thailand, officials of the Embassy and spouses in ceremonies and activity as follows;
At 08.30 hrs. H.E. Ambassador together with Team Thailand, officials from the Embassy and Spouses to pay homage to Her Majesty the Queen. H.E. Ambassador read the citation before Her Majesty’s portriat and led the team to sign a well-wishes guest book for Her Majesty Queen.
At 10.00 hrs. H.E. Ambassador led Team Thailand, officials from the Embassy and spouses to the traditional Buddhist merit-making ritual and offered meal to the monks at Si Saket Temple dedicated to Her Majesty’s good health. The ceremony was presided over by the Most Venerable Maha Veth Masenay, the abbot of Si Saket temple and Vice President of the Buddhist Fellowship Organisation of the Lao PDR.
At 14.00 hrs., H.E. Ambassador, Team Thailand, officials from the Embassy and spouses organised an activity of the Royal Thai Volunteers at the Vientiane School of Education for the Disabled. Food supply, condiments, and other essential items were donated to support 150 students of the School, which is the only specilised Government School in the Lao PDR that provides primary and secondary education for children with all types of disabilities.
