Between 12-13 June 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane organised the Workshop for Thai Food and Desserts Cooking at Integrated Technical Vocational School of Sayaboury province. The workshop is led by Ms. Siriporn Jamnoiprom and Mr. Wasun Sommun, the experienced chef and hospitality officer from the Royal Thai Embassy. There were 15 teachers and students from the school joining this exclusive workshop to learn about authentic recipes for Thai food and desserts as served at the Thai Residence.

 

The workshop greatly succeeded in enhancing participants’ skills and knowledge of exquisite Thai cuisine and encouraging them to pass on the knowledge for others (train the trainers). This workshop also aimed at providing an opportunity for creating jobs and generating income to the local community in a more sustainable manner.
