On 22 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane organised a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni in His Majesty King Rama VII. The ceremony took place at Si Saket Temple, with Venerable Phouangprasert Poumavong, Abbot of Ong Teu Voramahawihan Temple and Director of Ong Teu Sangha College, presiding over the religious observance. H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR, officials of the Embassy and Team Thailand, together with their spouses, also attended the Ceremony.
