On 15 September 2026, H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, presided over a merit-making ceremony marking the 100th day following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita at the Thai Residence. The ceremony included an alms-giving ceremony to monks from Si Saket Temple in Vientiane, with Venerable Dr. Sisouk Saleumkhoun, Member of the Central Committee of the Lao Buddhist Fellowship Organisation and Secretary to the Supreme Patriarch of the Lao PDR, serving as the presiding monk.

On this occasion, the Ambassador led officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane, Team Thailand and their spouses in paying tribute to Her Royal Highness and observed a moment of silence for 47 seconds in remembrance of Her Royal Highness’s benevolence towards the Thai people.
