On 9 January 2025, H.E. Ms. Morakot Sriswasdi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR, together with Consul-General of Thailand in Savannakhet, Team Thailand, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane and spouses organised the following ceremonies on the auspicious occasion of Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua Attaining the Same Age as His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great (Rama I) 2025;

1. Alms Giving Ceremony

H.E. Ambassador together with Consul-General of Thailand in Savannakhet, Team Thailand, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and spouses offered alms to 10 Buddhist monks from Ong Teu Mahawihan Temple at the Residence of the Thai Ambassador.

2. Signing of Well-Wishes Book

H.E. Ambassador led Consul-General of Thailand in Savannakhet, Team Thailand, officials of the Embassy and spouses to sign a well-wishes book to commemorate this auspicious occasion.
