On 18 December 2024, Ambassador Morakot Sriswasdi paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Bounleua Phandanouvong, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the Central Committee, to congratulate him on assuming his new duties. Ambassador expressed support for the cooperation between Thailand and the Committee, especially on the promotion of exchanges between people of the two countries through activities of the Thai-Lao Association for Friendship and the Lao-Thai Friendship Association.
