On 17 June 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane organised a merit-making ceremony on the occasion of the seventh day following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.

The ceremony took place at Si Saket Temple, with Venerable Dr. Sisouk Salirmkhoun, Permanent Member of the Supreme Sangha Council of the Central Buddhist Fellowship Organisation of the Lao PDR and Secretary to His Holiness, President of the Central Buddhist Fellowship Organisation of the Lao PDR, presiding over the religious observance. H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR, officials of the Embassy and Team Thailand, together with their spouses, also attended the ceremony.
