On 16 June 2026, H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR, presided over a ceremony of paying tribute in remembrance of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha at the Thai Residence. The ceremony included the signing of the book of condolences and 47 seconds of silence in remembrance of Her Royal Highness’s dedication and contributions to the Kingdom of Thailand and the Thai people. Officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane, Team Thailand and their spouses also attended the ceremony.
