On June 6, 2025, the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand, through the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), officially handed over a watchtower for monitoring drug trafficking by land and water to the Lao National Commission for Drug Control and Supervision. The construction o the watchtower was funded by ONCB with a total budget of 1,385,334 THB in support of the implementation of Lao PDR's national agenda on drug control.

 

This contribution formed part of the activities commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and the Lao PDR, particularly in the area of drug prevention and suppression
