On 26 May 2026, H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Phaivy Siboualipha, President of the People's Supreme Court of the Lao PDR, upon assuming her duty as the Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR. Both sides exchanged views on judicial cooperation between the two countries, particularly between the Supreme People’s Court of the Lao’s PDR and the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand, which have exchanged visits and organized training programs to share experiences in administrative law. In addition, both parties discussed issues concerning the protection of each other's nationals with a specific focus on individuals currently undergoing judicial proceedings.
