On 30 March 2026, H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh, President of the Party Central Committee for Inspection and the State Inspection Authority, upon assuming her duty as the Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation between relevant agencies in the field of anti-corruption, as well as on how to promote closer cooperation between the border provinces of Thailand and the Lao PDR.
