On 4 December 2025, Ms. Jirusaya Birananda, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane, together with Team Thailand, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane and spouses organised the following ceremonies on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Thailand’s Father’s Day 5 December 2025;

1. Alms Giving Ceremony

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. together with Team Thailand, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and spouses offered alms to ten Buddhist monks at Si Saket Temple, Vientiane.

2. Flower-offering Ceremony

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. led Team Thailand, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and spouses to commemorate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. The ceremony included flower-offering ceremony and reading of the citation to pay obeisance before His Majesty’s royal portrait.

3. Activity of the Royal Thai Volunteers

The Royal Thai Embassy together with Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane

organised the Royal Thai Volunteers’ activity by donating blood to the Lao Red Cross Society. The Embassy’s officials, Team Thailand, spouses, representatives of the Thai Business Association in Lao PDR (TBAL), and the Thai community in the Lao PDR donated blood on the auspicious occasion with a total of 57 participants.
