On 30 July 2026, H.E. Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, presided over a merit-making ceremony marking the fiftieth day following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita at Si Saket Temple in Vientiane. Also at the ceremony were officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane, members of Team Thailand and their spouses, as well as members of the Thai community in Vientiane.

On this occasion, Venerable Phouangprasert Poumavong, Abbot of Ong Teu Voramahawihan Temple and Director of Ong Teu Sangha College, served as the presiding monk.
